MUSTANG WEEK MYRTLE BEACH 2025 – VOLUNTEER WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY
By signing below, I acknowledge that I have voluntarily agreed to participate as a volunteer for Mustang Week Myrtle Beach 2025, an event produced by Power Automedia, LLC. I understand that my participation is at my own risk and is not required as a condition of employment, education, or any other obligation.
Assumption of Risk
I understand that volunteering at this event may involve various physical activities, including but not limited to standing for extended periods, walking long distances, lifting or moving objects up to 40 lbs, operating near or around vehicles, working in outdoor conditions (including high temperatures or inclement weather), and interacting with large crowds. I willingly accept and assume all risks associated with these activities, whether known or unknown.
Release of Liability
In consideration of being allowed to volunteer, I hereby release, waive, and discharge Mustang Week, Power Automedia, LLC, and their respective officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, sponsors, partners, venue hosts, agents, and representatives from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action of any kind arising out of or related to any loss, damage, illness, injury (including death), or other incident that may occur while volunteering or traveling to or from the event.
This release includes, but is not limited to, liability for negligence, whether passive or active, on the part of the released parties.
Medical and Insurance Acknowledgment
I understand and agree that I am not covered by any medical, liability, or workers' compensation insurance provided by Mustang Week or Power Automedia, LLC. I certify that I am solely responsible for any medical expenses or treatment incurred as a result of any injury or illness during my volunteer service. I affirm that I am in good health and physically capable of performing the duties required.
Volunteer Status and Conduct
I acknowledge that I am serving in a volunteer capacity only and will not receive any wages, benefits, or other compensation. I agree to conduct myself in a professional, respectful, and safe manner while representing the event. I will follow all directions provided by Mustang Week staff and understand that failure to comply may result in my dismissal from volunteer duties.
Photo & Media Release
I grant permission to Mustang Week and Power Automedia, LLC to use any photographs, video, or audio recordings taken of me during the event for promotional, marketing, or documentation purposes, without compensation.
Consent and Age Verification
By signing this waiver, I certify that I am at least 16 years of age. If I am under the age of 18, I affirm that I have obtained permission from my parent or legal guardian as indicated below.

Acknowledgment of Volunteer Nature and Activities
I understand that this is an unpaid volunteer position and that my child may be assigned to various duties, including but not limited to: merchandise sales, registration, traffic/parking assistance, event logistics, and car show support. I acknowledge that some of these tasks may involve physical exertion, prolonged standing or walking, lifting up to 40 lbs, and working outdoors in variable weather conditions.
Assumption of Risk
I understand and accept that there are inherent risks associated with volunteering at a public automotive event, including potential injury from vehicles, exposure to sun and heat, dehydration, crowd interaction, and unforeseen circumstances. I accept full responsibility for these risks on behalf of my minor child.
Release and Waiver of Liability
In consideration of my child’s participation, I hereby release and discharge Mustang Week, Power Automedia, LLC, and their respective officers, employees, volunteers, contractors, sponsors, affiliates, venue hosts, and agents from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of or related to any injury, illness, damage, or loss incurred by my child during their participation as a volunteer.
I understand that my child is not covered by any form of health, accident, liability, or workers' compensation insurance through Mustang Week or Power Automedia, LLC, and I agree to be fully responsible for any medical expenses incurred as a result of injury or illness.

I grant permission for Mustang Week and Power Automedia, LLC to use photographs, video, or other recordings of my child taken during the event for promotional, marketing, or documentation purposes, without compensation or additional consent.
Emergency Authorization
In case of emergency, I authorize Mustang Week staff or medical personnel to seek necessary medical treatment for my child and agree to bear the cost of any such treatment.
